The results of the Population Census (SP2020) in September 2020 recorded the population of Jeneponto Regency at 401,610 people, consisting of 198,526 male residents and 203,084 female residents.

Longform SP2020 Pre Upgrade

Pre-Updating the Longform SP2020 is an activity organized by the Central Statistics Agency which aims to prepare the Longform Census data collection in 2022 by strengthening the sample framework and basic budget planning for CATI and CAWI modes as an effort to realize one Indonesian population data.

The output of this activity is to improve the prelist, input material for 2022 Longform planning, 2023 Agricultural Census, and other surveys as well as strengthening indicator estimates as input for the study of the use of enumeration areas.

In brief, BPS Jeneponto Regency held a Pre-Update of the 2020 Longform SP to prepare the 2020 Population Census Longform which will be carried out in 2022. Good cooperation and communication between BPS Jeneponto Regency and field officers are the key to the success of the Pre-Updating of the Longform SP 2020.
