The Central Bureau of Statistics of Jeneponto Regency held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on sectoral statistical recommendations at the Lingkarsut Hotel. The FGD activity was held on November 30, 2021, attended by four OPD representatives, including BAPPEDA, Health Office, Housing Office, Land and Settlement Areas, and the Ministry of Communication and Informatics.

In his remarks, Head of BPS Jeneponto Regency, Ir. Muhammad Kamil, that this FGD is intended as an initial step to develop sectoral statistics for 4 (four) sectoral agencies as a pioneer in implementing recommendations for sectoral statistical activities in Jeneponto district. in the governance of One Data Indonesia. Sectoral Statistics Recommendations is a service from BPS that provides recommendations for statistical activities to the OPD of Jeneponto Regency/City, and is accessed through the romantik.bps.go.id web.

Syaiful Mustamu, S.Sos representing the Diskominfo and Statistics of Jeneponto Regency, along with M. Aris Arifin, ST, MM representing the head of Bappeda as a presenter at this FGD, said that in an effort to organize One Indonesia Data at the Regency/City level, BPS acted as supervisor data. The task of the data builder is to provide recommendations and guidance. Meanwhile, Diskominfo as the data guardian is in charge of checking the suitability of the data submitted by data producers and assisting data supervisors in fostering data producers. And all OPDs act as data producers to produce data and submit the resulting data to data guardians.

The event closed with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to 4 (four) invited agencies as pioneers in implementing recommendations for sectoral statistical activities in the Jeneponto district.
