Briefing for the Updating of the 2026 Crop-Cutting Survey

The Briefing for the Updating of the 2026 Crop-Cutting Survey held on Thursday, 11 December 2025 at the Jeneponto Regency Statistics Office (BPS) was officially opened by the Head of BPS Jeneponto, Dwi Santosa Mukti Buwana, S.Pd., S.Stat. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of accuracy and precision in updating crop-cutting data as one of the key indicators of food crop production. The activity also featured Regional Instructor Dicki Abdurohman, S.Tr.Stat, who delivered technical materials covering survey methodology, instrument improvements, and field data collection procedures. The participants, consisting of 3 Field Supervisors (PML) and 10 Field Enumerators (PCL), followed the briefing attentively.

The discussion session was highly interactive as participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and share challenges commonly encountered during previous survey implementations. Through this briefing, all PMLs and PCLs are expected to gain a consistent understanding of the operational standards for the 2026 Crop-Cutting Survey, ensuring that its implementation runs effectively and produces accurate and accountable data. The event concluded with a group photo session, symbolizing the readiness and commitment of the entire team in supporting high-quality agricultural statistics for Jeneponto Regency.
