Knowledge Sharing Session on GDP/GRDP Analysis

The Knowledge Sharing Session on GDP/GRDP Analysis was organized to strengthen institutional capacity, particularly at BPS–Statistics of Jeneponto Regency, in analyzing and interpreting key macroeconomic indicators. The session featured Mr. Sugiarto, SST, M.SE., Senior Statistician at BPS–Statistics of South Sulawesi Province, as the main resource person, who possesses extensive expertise and experience in regional economic statistics. The materials presented provided an in-depth review of GDP and GRDP concepts, compilation methodologies, and analytical approaches for assessing regional economic performance and growth dynamics. The session was further enriched through interactive discussions and case-based analyses, enabling participants to contextualize theoretical frameworks with real regional economic conditions. Through this knowledge-sharing initiative, participants’ analytical competencies are expected to improve and contribute to the provision of reliable, evidence-based statistical information that supports well-targeted policymaking.
